“Deepawali” or “Diwali” is the celebration of life. Diwali is the biggest among all Indian Festivals. Diwali is one of the very few festivals celebrated all across India with equal zeal and enthusiasm. Deepawali (Deep = light, Awali = row – Row of Lights) is the festival of light. Diwali is celebrated for five continuous days. Third day is celebrated as Diwali. On Diwali, People light diyas and candles all around their house and streets. They decorate the house entrance with colorful Rangolis. In the evening Laxmi Puja is performed. Laxmi – “Godess of Wealth” fulfills the wishes of her devotees on this auspicious day.

Diwali is celebrated as return of Lord Ram’s to Ayodhya after defeating demon Ravan and his coronation as King. People bursts fire crackers in the night, exchanges sweets and dry fruits and shares Diwali  Gifts with all their dear ones to express their joys and feelings on the day of Diwali.
